The names of each moon are an amalgamation of names used by Indegenous Peoples for hundreds of years.
The most common ones can be found in the farmers almanac.
The less common ones were used as they coincided with moments in the winemaking process, but they all coincide with the seasons.
Month and day of each full moon are listed for 2026.
